This Aviator beacon points at one flight listing

I keep a short beacon for X-Plane Flight Simulator on Google Play — listing facts, stills from the card, and notes written after I re-read the publish fields. The binary never lives here; the install opens on the store. Facts on this page were checked on 7 October 2026.

Why this Aviator beacon stays on one title

I do not run a download mirror. The beacon exists so an Aviator can read the same public fields Google Play shows — rating, downloads, content rating, update stamp — without inventing a size or OS line the card never printed. Laminar Research publishes the sim; I only light the path to their listing.

  • 10M+ downloads on Google Play
  • Content rating: Everyone — Users Interact, Digital Purchases
  • Genre tags on the card: Simulation, Vehicle, Flight, Multiplayer
  • Updated on the listing: 22 July 2025
  • What’s new (as published): HD badges for high-quality aircraft; bug fixes and improvements

The Play card we read did not publish a public file size, OS minimum, or version number string. We did not invent those figures.

What this Aviator listing actually ships

Flight model, not a toy loop

The developer describes the same flight model lineage as their desktop sim — wing flex, gear tilt, systems that can fail on command. That is the core sell on the Play card.

Interactive cockpits

Many aircraft ship with working gauges, displays, buttons, and cold-and-dark startups. The free pack includes a Cessna 172SP and a Cirrus Vision SF50 with interactive cockpits.

Five free regions

Oahu, Grand Canyon, Seattle/Tacoma, Juneau, and Innsbruck are listed as free scenery. Global scenery is tied to a subscription on the card — we report that, we do not soft-sell it.

Tutorials and multiplayer

Nine free tutorials cover basics through helicopters. Two-player multiplayer via Game Center is listed as free; massive multiplayer sits behind a Professional subscription in early access.
